Origin Story
Wing Snob was born in a backyard in Schaumburg, Illinois, where our founder Marcus Webb spent weekends perfecting his wing recipe for friends and family. What started as a neighborhood obsession quickly grew into something bigger. Marcus had a simple but radical idea: wings shouldn't be an afterthought — they should be the star of the show.
In 2014, Marcus opened the first Wing Snob location at 2319 W Schaumburg Rd. The name was a badge of honor — being a wingsnob meant demanding the absolute best: freshest chicken, house-made sauces, and flavors that dared to be different. Word spread fast. Lines formed. And a cult following was born.
Today, Wing Snob serves thousands of loyal fans across the United States, with franchise locations growing and a catering operation that brings bold flavors to events of every size. The mission hasn't changed — we're still every bit the wingsnob we started as.

The First Wing Snob Opens
Marcus Webb opens the very first Wing Snob at 2319 W Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL. Day one saw a sold-out batch of Original Gold sauce wings and a line stretching out the door.
Chicago Wing Festival Champions
Wing Snob wins "Best Wing Sauce" at the Chicago Wing Festival two years running, cementing our reputation as the wingsnob destination for serious wing lovers across Illinois.
Franchise Program Launches
Responding to overwhelming demand, Wing Snob launches its franchise program. The first three franchise locations open across the Midwest, each carrying the same obsessive commitment to quality.
Catering & Delivery Expansion
Wing Snob adapts and grows, launching a full-service catering operation and partnering with major delivery platforms. Our wings reach more fans than ever, from family dinners to corporate events.
The Sauce Lab Opens
Wing Snob opens a dedicated Sauce Lab — a culinary R&D kitchen dedicated entirely to developing new flavors. Over 200 sauce experiments led to 8 new signature flavors launching to fanfare across all locations.

Wing Snob celebrates its 10th anniversary with 12 locations across the United States and a growing community of over 50,000 loyal fans. The journey has only just begun for America's premier wingsnob brand.
